Case studies
Focusing on two neighbourhoods, the CONFUCIUS NEIGHBOURHOOD and the A10-STROOK NEIGHBOURHOOD the project is documenting the physical, social and cultural transformation of the Western Garden Cities. This approach is regarded as a way to understand the rapid and massive changes of an urban ecosystem and at the same time, it contributes to the debate on the validity of the strategic reasons behind the development plans. Moreover, it endeavours to raise the discussion on social price paid by the residents through a participative approach, engaging with citizens and institutions.
